New Balance is no stranger to changing things up, and so with its latest take on the beloved 1906R, the Boston label dips into its bag of tricks to pull up another hit. Drafted with a leather base and loose-gauge knit mesh, the upper is layered with a lattice of nubuck and leather while ripstop mesh paneling adorns the laterals. N-Lock lace and logo detailing pops on the sides while a glossy TPU cage shrouds the heel. Layered underfoot, we find a bouncy ABZORB midsole, complete with an innovative SBS insert in the heel.
